About the Episode 1 Author: Russell Sanders is a long-time original series fan active throughout the Battlestar Galactica online fanbase. In mid-2003, he founded The Cylon Alliance (www.Cylon.org) and is the owner of AllGalactica.com (www.AllGalactica.com). He has has also been regarded as a long-time friend of Colonial Fleets (www.ColonialFleets.com). Russell has long been known for his computer modeling and animation efforts to bring Battlestar Galactica continuation efforts to visual life and his artistic support of continuation campaigns such as The Colonial Fan Force (www.ColonialFanForce.org). He is most commonly known throughout the Galactica Internet circles as "Sandy - The Two Brained Cylon" and appears on certain CG boards as "Imperious Leader". Russell developed the concepts that spawned into production of The Exodus Series after conversations with Richard Hatch, listening to the audio story "Return of the Hero", and coordinating with Bill Gordon after his Interfleet Broadcast interview with Tom DeSanto. He sought to fill in the many gaps left hanging from all the original series efforts as well as provide a foundation and direction for future fan efforts.
Russell lives near the Kennedy Space Center in sunny Florida with a Madagascar Blue-Fisher Lovebird named "Bandit". He is divorced military veteran who served over 20 years in the United States Air Force and has one daughter and two granddaughters.
About the Episode 3 Author: John Pickard works as an office administrator for a staffing agency during the daytime and as a science fiction and fantasy writer during the hours of darkness. John has competed in several writing competitions and is known for some of his Galactica-related fan fiction as well as his independent stories. In 2005, he also had an article published in the first installment of Titan Books' Battlestar Galactica comic reprint series. He is also one of four owners of The Cylon Alliance (www.cylon.org) and an active member of the online fanbase John is co-authoring Episode 2 in addition to fully authoring Episode 3.
John lives outside Portland, Oregon with his wonderfully supportive wife who encourages his creative endeavors (as long as the lawn gets mowed). He enjoys participating in paintball competitions and collecting knives, as well as reading and creating new and exciting science fiction. John can be contacted through www.Cylon.org.
About the Episode 6 Author: Steve Dunlap is a long-time fan of the original Battlestar Galactica
series and the current, ongoing series. In 2003, he wrote his first
complete fanfiction, a continuation epic based on the original series
called "Battlestar Galactica: Dark Exodus", and is currently working on
its immediate sequel "Battlestar Galactica: Reciprocity."
Steve is an active member of several Galactica based fan-sites including Cylon Alliance, Galactica Actual, Ship of Lights, and Laurette Spang's fansite appearing under the handle Martok2112. He is also a moderator at Colonial Fleets and has his own Yahoo group that inludes his own fanworks including the fan art and fanfiction of several talented artists and writers.
